The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, but the room was bit outdated. Due to its location near the airport, a little extra sound insulation would have been expected.

I was looking for a Heathrow hotel near to a tube station so I rang beforehand to ask how close it was and was told 10 minutes. In fact it was about 20 minutes which was not ideal as I was travelling on foot with a suitcase and hand luggage. The hotel is located next to a very busy dual carriageway, so I guess the location is ok if travelling by car. The hotel itself is functional with no frills which is about what I was expecting for the price and I was only staying one night anyway. My room was clean and tidy and the windows were double glazed, but unfortunately this did not block out the aircraft noise. Overall, in general it was ok for one night, but I would definitely want proper sound proofing if staying near Heathrow in future and would prefer something closer to the tube, so for those reasons it is unlikely that I would revisit this hotel.

I would say this is a bit of an odd out - outside impressions of the accommoation are not good but the room was large when i got inside as was the bathroom. The only bad thing was lack of double glasing and as the hotel is right under the planes flight path it is very noisy, I could also hear the next door room. But handy to go to the airport (just bring ear plugs)

Very old fashioned as though it had been an old Butlins or similar, but it was clean and comfortable with very good food

I drove towards London on Saturday morning from Cardiff.I wanted to check-in but because of problems i was having with a cash machine/my bank, i did not have the required deposit. I was short of £30,00. I had the full paymant for the room, but not enough deposit. So, all they could do was turn me away. I borrowed my friends credit card to book the room, and they said that they will still have to charge me for the room. I borrowed some cash from a friend that i was meeting in London, but when i went back to the hotel very late that night, they told me that they are now full with no more rooms available. My wife and i ended up sleeping at a service stop at Reading. We drove back to Cardiff on the Sunday morning.

Watch out The room size was great for our needs, linen needs to be upgraded as does the pillows. NO mini bar, and really expensive for breakfast, but travellers beware if paying in cash, the master robert likes to debit your credit card as well, they s
