Took about 10 minutes to confirm I was actually booked in - said they hadnt received info from discountcityhotels etc. Luke warm shower in the morning. Other than that, fine for a budget room.

Fantastic hotel for the money. Staff were friendly and helpful. Dont let negative reviews put you off, its amazing for the money. Rooms were small but very clean and comfortable and location is unbelievably convinient. Doors are locked at night with 24hour reception so very safe.

The Hotel staff were excellent, the room was a bit claustrophobic, the toilet/shower compartment-very dangerous, and the noise outside room 220 (the one I was in) carried on until 3.30am. So I did not get much sleep that night.

The bathroom was so small that you could not stand in the shower without your back touching the shower controls and your front touching the curtain.

Worst hotel I have stayed in for a while. Tiny room, hotel very shabby - didnt have the breakfast. Unpleasant smell about the place. A couple of reasonable restaurants nearby. If you have a choice go stay somewhere else.

I was disappointed to be given a room overlooking London Street, with all its noise, when I had specifically asked for a quiet room overlooking Norfolk Square.

I want to thank you all again for the lovely stay at your hotel. My husband and son, ere very surprised and grateful for the upgrade to the apartment. This was the first international trip for my teenage son, and it made quite an impression on him. The services was excellent, and secure, and we found our stay to be very enjoyable.

Great value for my money :-) Nice and coasy hotel in the heart of London close to everything. This was our first visit at this hotel but not the last.

My two children and I stayed here in a triple room, their godmother in a single room and my sister in law and her little boy in a double room. The single room was in a funny location over a little bridge and stank of cigarette smoke. The double room was fine. Our triple room was in fact a little self contained annexe which would have been fine except for the fact it had carpets with very dubious stains and it was a bit creepy going up a dark alley when there was just me and the children. Breakfast was fine and so was the service on Reception - cant fault those at all. The bathroom was also clean and there were plenty of towels.

The hotel location was good for me. The only comment I would like to add is that the shower room ensuite was too small even for someone who is thin.

My second 4-days staying was very nice experience. If I decide to visit London again - depends on level of Brits fear-terorisem-mania, specialy on airport!!!! - definitely my first choice.

ensuite designed for midgets lift not working for the entire week stair carpet threadbare in places fire doors regularly jammed open by cleaning staff. staff were very friendly and polite especially in the dining room and on reception.

First, we ask for 3 single beds... They gave us 1 single and 1 double bed. We were in a very small room (25 cm between the 2 beds and between the bed and the window) with an very old dirty carpet, no view(white window pane) just in front of a big wall... We had the kitchen of a restaurant downstairs: it smelled the kitchen in the room... I have found a cock-roach in the bathroom..The lift was out of order and to go to the Kent Wing we had to go up and down and again up and down stairs (third floor)... It as been no lift to go in this part of the hotel and we need to be in good health to go to this room with our luggage...

Good value hotel in a area which gives easy access to train and tube station. The rooms in this hotel are small but very clean. The staff were efficient and friendly. Good base for sightseeing. There are plenty of shops and restaurants in this area too.
