paying £150 for hotel room that stank of smoke had windows taped up and no cold water so washing impossible told could have shower on 4th floor I was on first floor. Two guys next door having a riotous time they could have been in my room the soundproofing was so bad. The location was great but next time no point in paying for such poor facilities

My boyfriend and I have just spent the weekend at the Millenium Mayfair for his birthday The hotels location is excellent, very close to the shops and nightlife. We saved lots of money on cabs as we found we could easily walk everywhere. We booked a standard double room which was clean and very cosy (although the bathroom was small, it had everything we needed- including an iron which i always find handy!) All in all we had a fab weekend and for £110 for a night - you cant go wrong.

Expensive but convenient. The drinks were very expensive & the costs of using the internet prohibitive

reception staff not very helpful unable to provide me with a key whilst i was there evry time i needed to return to my room i had to ask for the staff to let me in with ther key this was very poor service for a hotel of this scale. because of this i had a very poor time there and would not recommend friends to stay also the car park when i left i paid over £72 only to realise the barrier was up and that there was no need for members of the wealth club to pay the staff could have notified me of this or put up a notice. the toilets were a disgrace as they have th mens and ladies together this is not good when ladies have to tidy the make up and hair and do not wish to be seen doing so. oveerall not a good stay.

Great stay. Upgraded to delux room as they didnt supply flowers as requested with Champagne. Great if you are staying for theatre/shopping. Had great reviews and I can see why. Great value for money. Excellent!! Pricey car park though, (£41 overnight!)

Excellent hotel, 5 mins walk from Bond St tube station. Only hassle was gtting a taxi to go to the theatre in the evening, we were waiting around half an hour for a taxi and it was touch and go that we got to the theatre on tine. No fault of the hotels, central line was down and it was saturday night, they had a porter and other staff trying to flag taxis in from the main road!! Overall fantastic hotel, ideal for shopping! Would def stay there again!!

hotel standard was what you would expect from a 4 star+. Had poor service though. looks like lack of organisation and initiative. Main issue was due to noise from next room. Although not hotels direct fault were unwilling to solve problem.

Recently spent the weekend at this Hotel and I have to say we had a great time and would highy recommend. However we did get a great price which makes all the difference. Excellent Location along with friendly staff I safely say we will be returning to the Millennium Mayfair.

The hotel hd not looked at request preferences, room overlooked air conditioning units, very difficullt and unhelpful about finding a new room. After waiting nearly 2 hours and conflicting information given room which was an upgrade. Furniture rather shabby in parts, very expensive for breakfasts. Reception staff very unhelpful

Sunday night stay. Small room. Expensive rate. Restaurant closed - no prior indication of this. Internet access on room TV not working. Incorrectly charged for internet usage! Bill corrected on challenge. Overall a potentially enjoyable stay was a disappointing experience. Wont be staying again.

We were going to a charity ball in Park Lane and this hotel was ideally situated. There were a lot of staff behind reception but check-in didnt go as smoothly as you would have expected. Our room was not ready and we were given a voucher for a complimentary soft drink in the bar. We were a party of 4 couples but one of our party was put onto the 4th floor while the rest of us were on the 2nd. The room was very comfortable, also the bed, but the room was rather small. Discount City Hotels gave us a very good rate which made up for a lot. If we had paid the full price of £275 for the night I wouldnt have been so accepting. There was limited tea, coffee & milk. Make sure you ask the concierge for a discount ticket for the car park. Many people were not told and 10% off made a difference. We would stay here again but only at the special rate. Well done Discount City Hotels!

As title says, lovely location but the hotal wasnt as grand as I was expecting. Booked a double room but got a twin (althought they did change this). Room was ok, but nothing special, considering it is a 4 star hotel - was expecting a bit more luxury.

We were told on checking in that we were being given a very nice room we were shocked when we entered it! Small room with dated, mis-matching furniture. The bathroom was so small you almost had to back up to get in! We phoned reception to ask if we had been given the right room and she informed us that we had been UPGRADED to a refurb room. This company obviously gets money off by booking the reject rooms that a full paying customer would refuse! Tried phoning this company, could only get through to answer phone. Would never book with these cowboys again!

We booked this hotel as we were attending an evening event at a venue on Park Lane - most convenient location. Also very handy for Oxford Street and surrounding area. Found the accommodation to be clean, comfortable and spacious. Only negative was the service. For a 4 star hotel I was a little surprised by how disorganised and confused looking the reception staff were. However, when I pointed out an error they were quick to correct it and to help us out as much as they could. Overall, this place comes recommended.

Absolutely amazing. I stayed in this hotel 3 weeks ago with my husband for my birthday. It could not have been any better!! The location is so convenient, you are right in the middle of the centre, but on a very peaceful square, with lots of green, like a
