Just to warn you, this hotel is NOT handicap accessible. There are no elevators, and the bannister is not sturdy at all. The reception closes at 11PM, so you have to key yourself in at night. The quality of the room itself...Well, the seat of our toliet was broken and the hot pot they give you to boil water for tea in was disgusting and crusted over. Sheets for bed were noticeably old. TV gets poor reception. Did not give complimentary shampoo, bath soap, or toothpaste (they did not tell us this ahead of time, so we had to go out to the pharmacy and buy it.) Avoid this hotel.

This was my second stay here and this time the room was of a much poorer quality. Room 4 was very spacious and clean - room 8 (this trip) was about a third of the size as was the bathroom and the plastic shower head worse than useless meaning I couldnt take my usual morning shower (bad start to the day) The carpet was quite dirty too. Having said all that the facilities otherwise were fine, the bed was comfortable and the room very quiet.

If you want amenities, this is not the hotel for you. The staff was accomodating for the most part but the hotel is very basic. When we arrived the smell of paint was overwhelming as well as the smell of smoke. No lift to the top floor. Very basic accomodations but the location was great and near the park. Very small private hotel with only a few rooms.

The rooms are very cosy and quite large. Very good location being so near to Marble Arch tube station.

good hotel with good location. my overall rating is good taking into consideration the money I paid and that I only stayed one night there.
