The room was adequate for short stays. The bathroom a bit cramped. The restaurant had the feel of a hostal specially when having to produce a voucher to obtain breakfast.

After reading some reviews i was a bit unsure of what to expect? We were greeted by a friendly receptionist who was helpful. The rooms were cleaned everyday and beds made. New tea/coffee and biscuits everyday.

The hotel rooms were filthy, carpets thread worn and dirty, dirty stained sheets, TV did not work, awkward set up for using kettle, poor service and many fixtures were broken. This is the worst place I have stayed in.

Wonderful hotel very convenient for Hyde park and Paddington tube station. Very clean with lovely polite staff. Would definately stay there again.

We stayed at this hotel as we were going to a concert at Hyde Park. It was a perfect location and the hotel itself was clean and great value for money. The staff were very helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed our stay.

We (a party of 7 using 2 doubles and one triple) really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are a bit small and at the time of year we went, the rooms were very warm even with windows open. The staff were lovely and we were given a complimetary english breakfast in the mornings even though it said continental. The bar could do with a little updating adding also a wider variety of drinks (they only seemed to have wine and one type of beer) and possibly serve snacks also. Everything was really clean (which we find most important) and we all agreed we would definately go back. I have seen some very dodgy places in London and this was a stones throw from Hyde park and set in a lovely quiet area.

Very worn hotel rooms. Cleanish but in desperate need of renewing (worn carpets, fixtures, bedcovers) Reception and dining areas were good as was the continental breakfast. Location good - only minutes away from Paddington Station.

The location was excellent and the hotel had all the facilities it advertised. The hotel did claim to have had a recent refurshnisment, the public areas lived up to this but the room itself was very shabby and had clearly not had any form of decorating done for a long time, carpets threadworn etc, really let the hotel down. We were on the third floor

The hotel location was perfect for getting to Hyde Park. The price was really good for London. There wasnt any aircon and the room was a bit small but it was clean. On the whole, its ok for a one night stay.
