it was a very nice hotel, nice size rooms and beds. was there on a awards evening and everything was great

When we arrived at the Eff. Park Hotel there was a major power cut and so stayed at the nearby Copthorne Hotel. The above ratings reflect the less that expected standard of quality and location that we were anticipating at the Effingham Park Hotel.

Stayed here the day before flying to USA for xmas.We had a wonderful relaxing day including lunch and dinner. Food of a vey high standard and the staff are the friendliest we have come accross in a long time. Highly recommended.

Everything was fine especially the staff(thank you Nicole!). Very good hotel for the money. I would definitely use this web site again.

Difficult to judge hotel overall as only had one night stay. However room was clean and comfortable enough. A bit disappointed at the housekeeping staff knocking on my door early enquiring as to what time I was checking out!

1st class hotel. We had seven rooms here and cant fault anything . Would recomend to anyone.

Overall the hotel was good with exception of the sports bar - it was dark and basic, this was no place to be unless you wanted to be surrounded by TV screens. Seating outside was at picnic tables and we had to collect our food. This was a very disappointing alternative to the hotel restaurant.

Oasis of calm! Such a restful break in a hectic schedule. The room was large and airy with pleasing views. The staff were very helpful and it all added up to great value in a very nice hotel with a perfect link to Gatwick. I will certainly use it again -

More airport hotel than resort The service provided by the staff was excellent, however, the hotel is marketed as a resort which is misleading. It had more of a feeling of an airport hotel rather than a real getaway. If offered water in the restaurant
