I was disappointed after checking out that we were charged extra by the minicab company. We were now regarded as a "private" rental rather than a hotel rental, on the advice of the desk attendant. The fee to Paddington was £30, almost double what we paid to come to the hotel from Paddington. We had just spent 3 nights with you. It felt like a cheap shot. I wouldnt come back on principle.

We have stayed here four times now and will definitely be back. Rooms are quite varied in size but all are comfortable and have ensuite with bath, shower or both. English or continental breakfast is served buffet style and there is a usually a good selection available. One criticism is that the tea served to your table is invariably far too weak! Putney offers a varied range of shops and, if you like to eat out at sensible prices, a very good choice of restaurants are within a ten minute walk - Destinos is one of our favourites. If youre heading for the West End then East Putney tube station is few hundred yards away and the mainline station in Putney High Street provides a service direct to Waterloo - convenient for the South Bank. All in all, a very good, clean, friendly hotel in a nice area of London. Happy to recommend.
