We have stayed here twice now and would stay again any time. The rooms are clean although basic (but the prices are excellent for what you get). The staff are very friendly and helpful (except in the breakfast area-one person on duty and on busy mornings cutlery and food items not always available which is a shame since the food is great.) The whole Alesia district is bustling, full of shops and places to eat and drink-very handy for the Metro and easy reach of all areas of Paris.

my stay was enjoyable except for the guy who checked me in the night of my arrival which was the 15/july, he was ever so rude clearly not happy to be there seeing to customers,and i did report this the following morning to the girl who was at the reception

The location and price of the hotel was good. However, if you wanted help from the people who worked there you did not get much help. One day before our arrival I contacted the hotel to make sure everything was ok with our booking, which it then was. But the next day when we arrived at the hotel the not so nice male receptionist told us that our room had been cancelled, but he couldnt tell us why. Luckily they still had a vaccant room for us. If you want the employees at the hotel to be able to speak English, then dont book it. Then again, you might want to go to some other country than France:) But we were very happy with our room, it was clean and valuable (60 euros a night). Close to Metro station. I would recommend breakfast in the nearby Jardin de Luxembourg.
