Cancellation Policy:
LEASE GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1- Terms and conditions in relation to reservation The reservation shall be considered to be firm upon receipt of a bank card number (as a deposit). Payments at the residential apartments may be made by the card holder only. 2- Terms and conditions in relation to the cancellation or amendment of the reservation prior to arrival - Stays between 1 - 3 days: No charge up to midday on the date of arrival. After this period, one day shall be charged. - Stays between 4 - 14 days: No charge up to D-2. After this period, 25% of the total rent shall be charged. - Stays between 15 - 59 days: No charge up to D-7. After this period, 25% of the total rent shall be charged. - Stays of 60 days or more: No charge up to D-15. After this period, 25% of the total rent shall be charged (up to one month). In the event of failure to cancel a reservation, no-shows shall be subject to the cancelation terms mentioned above. 3- Terms and conditions in relation to late arrival In the event of arrivals outside the opening hours, the amount stated in the reservation terms and conditions shall be charged on the date of arrival. 4- Credit card deposits: A bank card (which is still valid over the period of the stay) must be used to pay the deposit on the date of arrival prior to the handing over of any keys. The deposit amount is €250 for all stays of less than 30 days and €750 for all stays of more than 1 month. The deposit will not be cashed. Within the limits of the amounts above, it shall be used to cover any unpaid rent and charges, damage, the costs of housekeeping and replacing any missing items noticed at the time of departure. 5- The lease - state of the premises Signing a lease for a rented apartment is mandatory regardless of the length of the stay. The apartment shall be supplied in a good state of maintenance. An inventory appears in each apartment. You must check the accuracy and quality of the inventory and inform reception, as soon as you enter the premises (or when the reception opens in the event of late arrivals) of any anomalies or missing or damaged items. An inventory shall be drawn up by APPART’CITY and the tenant for all stays of more than one month. The inventory and the state of cleanliness shall be checked by Appart’City and any missing items on the inventory or damage noted shall be charged. 6- Payment terms The accepted payment methods are bank cards, cash, euro cheques, holiday vouchers and Kadéos or Tir Groupé vouchers. Rentals shall be paid for in full on the date of arrival prior to the handing over of any keys. For individuals staying more than one calendar month, the rent for the 1st calendar month shall be paid upon arrival. In the event of arrival after the 20th of the month, the 1st payment shall cover the end of the month in hand and the following calendar month. Other rent shall be paid prior to the 5th of each calendar month for the month in hand. The deposit paid at the time of reservation shall be attributed to the amount of the 1st rent instalment and if applicable to the 2nd rent instalment. In relation to billing a company, an account must be opened, with an acceptance form, prior to taking possession of the residential apartment. 7- Changes to bookings during a stay a) Early departure: For stays of less than 4 days, early termination fees shall not be charged if notice of the departure is given before midday. For stays of more than 4 days: - Early termination fees shall not be charged if notice of the departure is given at least 30 days prior to the departure date - 15% of the rent due (up to one month) shall be charged if notice of the departure is given between 15 - 29 days prior to the departure date. - 25% of the rent due (up to one month) shall be charged if notice of the departure is given between 7 -14 days prior to the departure date. - 30% of the rent due (up to one month) shall be charged if notice of the departure is given less than 7 days prior to the departure date. b) Extension: As from the date of notice, the price for the days due shall be updated based on the total price for the final stay. 8- Documents to be provided for a reservation: For payment by cheque and for all stays > 4 days : Identity card or passport For all stays of more than 30 days: : Identity card or passport : Last 3 payslips : Last 3 rent receipts or last tax notice for land tax 9- Insurance The tenant is insured through APPART’CITY against fire, water damage and broken glass, irrespective of the length of the stay. The insurance taken out by APPART’CITY does not cover: - Damage caused to vehicles in outside parking areas or in the basement. - Damage caused to third parties (head of household liability) - The theft or disappearance of personal belongings, pet insurance The apartments are available from 3p.m. And must be vacated by 11a.m. RECEPTION DESK OPENING HOURS Monday - Friday : 8am - 12pm and 3pm - 8pm Saturday : 8am - 12pm and 2pm - 5pm Closed Sundays and bank holidays A city tax of 0,35€ per day and per person, will be charged in supplement. Guests planning to arrive outside of these days/hours must contact the residence directly no later than one day prior to arrival in order to arrange for alternate check-in procedures.
