| GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Any reservation made via the www.hotel-massena-nice.com website or any stay at the Hotel Massena Nice**** implies consultation and full and unreserved acceptance of these general terms and conditions and the sales conditions for the reserved rate.
BOOKING CONFIRMATION
Please note that all bookings are provisional until confirmed in writing. All bookings must be guaranteed by a valid credit card. The hotel reserves the right to carry out credit card authorizations. If the pre authorization is refused or in case of invalid credit card, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the booking and resell the room without further notice.For reservations of 6 nights and more, a 2 night deposit will be requested upon confirmation. This deposit will not be refunded in case of cancellation less than 7 days prior to arrival.
Reservations exceeding 4 rooms on overlapping dates will be considered a group booking. The hotel reserves the right to refuse such bookings on the basis of availability or may apply special rates and conditions.
CANCELLATION
For reservations of 1 to 5 nights, free cancellation is possible until 24h prior to the arrival day (day prior before 12am). The reservations cancelled thereafter will be charged a one night cancellation charge. For reservations of 6 nights and more, a 2 night deposit will be requested upon confirmation. This deposit will not be refunded in case of cancellation less than 7 days prior to arrival.
In case of anticipated check out without prior notice (at least 24 hours before), the following night will be charged as penalty.
ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
Unless otherwise agreed, the room is at guests’ disposal from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. On the day of departure, the rooms are to be vacated by 12 a.m. at the latest. In case of non-respect of these timetables, a supplementary night may be charged as penalty. All the clients have to remain respectful with regards to the other in house guests.
Rooms may be checked by our housekeeping staff before any check out. In case of any damage to the room caused by the guest, the guest will be required to pay extra cost in cash for recovery of the damage before checking out of the hotel.
INVOICE/RATES/PAYMENT
For stays of 7 nights and more, a weekly payment might be required.
Payment at the hotel can be made by cash or (Visa/ Mastercard/JCB/Diners/American Express).
Payment by cheque is not accepted.
The prices shown at the time of booking include VAT at the tax rate applicable at that moment. They are subject to any VAT variation and thus may be adjusted accordingly at any time.
City tax ("taxe de sejour" in French) is compulsory: it applies to everybody (except for children younger than 13) and is collected by the owner of the accommodation.
Only the services mentioned on the booking confirmation are guaranteed. The number of guests staying in our property cannot exceed the number of guests agreed in the bookings.
The Accommodation Supplier reserves the right to refuse admittance if the number of persons arriving exceeds the number on the booking form.
If the number of guests exceeds the number of people stipulated on the booking confirmation:
1/ Additional charges will apply (extra bed, extra room (when available)…)
2/ In case hotel has no possibility to accommodate the extra guest(s), and the client wishes to cancel the entire booking, one night per room cancelled will be charged as penalty.
CHILDREN
The Hotel reserves the right to refuse Children aged 17 years and under unless accompanied by a responsible adult
Note that children older than 2 years old are charged the adult rate. Please notify them in the NO. of adults box.
