The Rockwell is an independent hotel with an emphasis on understated contemporary style, impeccable levels of personal service and attention to detail. Each of the forty rooms has been crafted to create a relaxed atmosphere, whilst retaining an individual character which combines English tradition with contemporary styling. In addition to our well appointed bedrooms, we offer guests the use of generous spaces for eating, drinking and relaxing, including a large south facing landscaped garden.
Situated in Earls Court, many of the capitals best attractions are on our doorstep - Earls Court Stadium, Earls Court Olympia, Harrods department store, the Royal Albert Hall, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum as well as the shopping areas of Knightsbridge, Chelsea and Kensington are all within walking distance. The Rockwell is also close to the wide green expanses of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.
Bedrooms:
Each of the many different sizes of bedroom have been tailored to make your stay as comfortable as possible - the beds themselves are large and inviting with pocket sprung mattresses, and dressed with the finest Egyptian cotton, feather pillows and merino wool blankets. Bespoke solid oak cupboards and a desk are provided in each room, as well as a flat screen television.
Restaurant & Bar:
The Rockwell Dining Room overlooks the landscaped garden through a series of French windows. Delicately sculpted timber light fittings and palm inspired wallpaper create an intimate dining environment. Our menu is based on modern interpretations of traditional British fare, and is accompanied by an extensive wine list. The Bar is a relaxed and contemporary space with views into the garden. Simple furniture and a window seat provide a perfect environment in which to unwind with a cocktail or a glass of wine.
Meetings & Events:
The Rockwell features a conference room available for hire for private meetings, fully equipped with modern business services. Conference users can take advantage of the hotel’s bar and dining room along with a large private garden. We aim to assist conference planners in every way possible, to enable meetings and events in this exclusive, central London venue to run smoothly.
Garden:
Something of a rarity in Central London, The Hotel provides guests with access to a large south facing walled garden, which can be used for dining, sipping a cocktail or simply reading the paper. Oversized flowerpots house tall bamboo shoots and a variety of plants, which are lit at night to stunning effect.

Travel Information:- Gatwick Airport: The Gatwick Express train service leaves Gatwick Airport every 15 minutes and takes 30 minutes to arrive at Victoria station in central London. From Victoria station you can take London transport to The Rockwell.
- London Heathrow: The Heathrow Express train service leaves Heathrow Airport (terminals 1, 2, 3 and terminal 4) every 15 minutes and takes 15 minutes to arrive at Paddington Station in central London. From Paddington station you can take London Transport to The Rockwell.
- Stansted: The Stansted Express train service leaves Stansted Airport every 15 minutes during the week and every 30 minutes during the weekend and takes 45 minutes to arrive at Liverpool Street station in central London.
- By Public Transport Underground: The closest Underground Station to The Rockwell is Earls Court, which is on the District and Piccadilly lines. From Earls Court tube station the walk to The Rockwell will take less than 5 minutes.
